To promote ethical behavior in our organization and group, we have developed a code of conduct and ethical guidelines. This clarifies the criteria for choosing the right course of action and creates a culture in which members can do the right thing.

In order to take responsibility for results and outcomes, we regularly set aside time for reflection. If results do not meet expectations, we consider appropriate countermeasures and remedial actions, and apply the learning for the next time. When employing Filipinos, companies are required to follow the prescribed procedures with the Philippine DOLE, POLO, and POEA in addition to obtaining a visa in Japan. This is a rule unique to the Philippines, and companies considering hiring Filipinos need to understand how it works in advance. The background to this is the large number of overseas workers in the Philippines. As of 2023, more than 10% of the country's population are overseas workers, and this is a protection against exploitation and unfair working conditions.

In Japan, POLO has offices in the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo and the Consulate General in Osaka. Employers must visit the POLO for POEA review.

To deepen understanding between the two countries, we have made exchange of university students a pillar of our business. We promote exchange students, short-term visits, and exchange classes.

The DOLE's primary duty is to protect workers. The DOLE's main duty is to protect workers. When problems arise in connection with Filipino workers employed by a foreign company (including companies substantially owned by foreigners), the DOLE often takes strict decisions against the company in terms of worker protection. In many cases, the DOLE will take strict action against the company from the perspective of worker protection.
